Product Information

This PowerPoint resource is intended to support teachers working with the DFES publication 'Letters and Sounds'.  It is based around teaching segmentation for spelling in phase two.

The PowerPoint shows phoneme frames for 20 words taken from the phase two word sets.  The first slide for each word shows the picture and a blank phoneme frame.  The next three slides reveal the letters in the word in order.

It would be great for using as a whole class teaching point or as a stimulus for the children when they are practicing segmentation.
