This resource is a PowerPoint presentation, designed to be used with the whole class on the fifth day of Phase Five of the Letters and Sounds programme.

It is split into four colour coded sections - recap, teach, practise and apply.  There are also slides to show the learning objectives being covered at different points in the session.

There are opportunities for the children to;

recap previously learnt graphemes,

recap reading and spelling previously learnt tricky words,

learn to read high frequency words containing graphemes learnt earlier in the week,

practise reading high frequency words,

read sentences containing high frequency words and graphemes learnt earlier in the week.
