This literacy activity gives children an opportunity to match letters and words to Christmas images. Each card consists of 3 boxes showing a festive picture, the initial sound of the word and the whole word. Cut the 10 cards up and ask children to match either the sounds, words or both. The words used are tree, reindeer, crackers, present, elf, bells, star, hat list and donkey.
